Listening to the aspirations of those I teach, it is clear that many do not want to follow a ‘traditional’ learning route, but instead want to play specific styles and genres of music that suit their own personal tastes and goals.

Like my Father, I taught myself how to play the piano from an early age, providing me with a great understanding of ‘how music works.’ I feel that this knowledge is something that is very often overlooked and omitted in the field of music tuition, but once acquired- makes the learning process much easier, much more logical, and much more fun.
